Marko was born in Belgrade Serbia and moved to United States in 1993 when his dad, Sholi, became the Goalkeeper coach for US Mens National Team. During that time the US team was preparing for the 1994 World Cup and Marko had a chance to help his dad coach such greats as Tony Meola, Brad Friedel and Kasey Keller.

Born in New Zealand from parents of Czech and Hungarian descent, Milan enjoys sports ranging from rugby to tennis. Milan is a USSF State referee and the resident expert on the Laws Of The Game for the OC Kings. Milan is a board member for the SCRA referee association which is responsible for refereeing USSF games in South Orange County. He is also the webmaster for the OC Kings.
